Before we can process the tenants application we will require :

  • Copy of photo ID (Passport/Driving licence)
  • Proof of home ownership (Recent mortgage statement)
  • Proof of address (Utility bill dated within the last three months)
  • Last three months wage slips or last two years accounts (please note only guarantors earning over £18,000 per annum will be accepted)

* If you are unable to find proof of ownership or you have discharged your mortgage please confirm here and we will complete a Land Registry search to confirm your ownership status.

I believe the information provided here to be true and authorise the landlord or agent to:

  • Carry out credit searches and reference checks and to contact employers, banks, referees, and credit reference agencies as necessary.
  • Use the information obtained with third parties to assess credit ratings, make insurance decisions, for fraud prevention and tracing / debt collection.
  • Handle all information obtained in strictest confidence and in accordance with the principles of the Data Protection Act 2018.

I understand that I can request the details of any credit reference agencies used so that I can verify with them the information provided.

I understand that if I default on my guarantor's obligations, this information may be released to authorised debt recovery agencies and could affect any future applications I make for tenancies, credit and insurance.

Completing this form does not commit the prospective guarantor to that role, or the tenant or landlord to a tenancy or the assignment of a tenancy. A joint or single tenancy will not be created until all applicants have been qualified and have signed the agreement.

* A copy of our standard tenancy agreement is available for inspection at our office.

I can confirm that I have read the above and the tenancy agreement / lease, that I am fully aware of my own and the tenant's commitments regarding this prospective tenancy and that I am prepared to enter into a guarantor agreement (deed of guarantee). Also, that I have raised any concerns with the landlord or landlord’s agent.
